If you go to Olaf Breuning’s homepage you will be greeted with an exercise in web non-interactivity, an astounding feat of domain naming and registration, as well as photography that lures you in through its combination of colour, composition and silliness. Both with illustration and props his photographs remind us of how very few changes to a scene can affect the potential for absurdity and intrigue. If you’re in reality, in particular in Sydney’s reality, Olaf Breuning also currently has an exhibition running from March 2 - April 14 at the ACP which draws upon this ‘glam-trash’ world that we seem to inhabit and love. It runs alongside other exhibitions from Ed and Deanna Templeton, and Glenn Sloggett. Click here for more details.
