here and there // nakako hayashi

There is something sweet and pure inside the pages of here and there magazine, something that we haven’t seen inside a fashion/culture magazine in a long time. The pages aren’t filled with re-worked press releases or hyped bands, nor are they lined with images of distastefully shot fashion accessories. The ‘author’ Nakako Hayashi blends high culture with urban domesticity to create an honest and original periodical. Artists like Susan Cianciolo construct installations inside Nakako’s home, Elein Fleiss documents trees in Paris and writers muse on everything from life as a new parent to why people make gardens.
