It’s not easy to keep up with concepts, particularly if they are designed to evade. Having already hit Glasgow, Berlin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Warsaw Comme des Garcons new Guerrilla Store (+4812) opened in a disused factory in Cracow, Poland last Saturday March 24. Label founder Rei Kawakubo says that her ultimate goal is to “carry on having a free and independent company”, a statement which rings true as they continue to satiate our desires for fresh uses of urban spaces, challenging devotees to engage in an experience that goes beyond a mere retail exchange.
