A little while back we approached one of our favourite artists Erlend Oye from The Whitest Boy Alive/Kings of Convenience for an interview and unfortunately he declined, stating:

“i have stopped doing interviews.
apart from if herald tribune knocks on my door to dicuss the current state of world affairs.
but thanks for the interest.
and i dont think you need to interview me to do an article about me. “

He’s right, and it’s completely understandable, but we’ve been waiting to do a post on them for a while and with this ‘Golden Cage’ film clip by Geoff McFetridge we finally have an excuse. It came courtesy of the great blog Boico which you also must check out.
